Goodbye to our RPod
After traveling over a month last summer in our RPod we decided to buy a new trailer that better fit our needs. We found being in our 70s and having to crawl over each other to get to the bathroom was not a good idea. We will really miss our RPod because we really loved it, but we needed more room.
After looking around, we settled on the Forest River Rockwood MiniLite. We wanted to stick with Forest River RVs because, after owning many other brands, we felt we had less trouble with their RVs.
Arlie Moore Campground
This week was our first week actually camping with it
So far it’s been a relaxing trip considering we had to go to two different lake to find a campground open due to flooding.
We ended up at the Arlie Moore campground at Lake DeGray. It’s high up enough we don’t have to worry about flooding but it has been too windy to sit out or fish so we are enjoying the extra space in our new camper. There is only one other camper in the campground that I’m seeing all kinds of fascinating paintings from. More to come on that maybe some sketches
